Looking for a good Wallpaper or two.

Subject: S197 Mustangs. Sixes and/or in black ideally, but S197 is good enough (pre-facelift).

Please?

I totally lol'd.

You can't laugh at anything in life unless you can laugh at everything, right? That's how I justify poverty humor.

Wait...

Like the disappointed wife said to the husband, "How do I get it bigger?"

Open the image url in another tab, and then replace "ku-large.jpg" or whatever with "original.jpg". This works for any image on Oppo/Jalopnik to return it to the original size.

Which one is your favorite? I'm pretty partial to the Saleen S281 (#5 from the top) myself, but the S302 (bottom) that replaced it is a close second.

Favorite? I dunno. Depends on how rich I'm pretending to be.

I'll put it to you this way, the S302 is my current desktop image.

If I had the money, and was just a bit more inexplicably in love with Mustangs, what I'd like more then anything is a pre-facelift S197 with the rear light and decklid treatment and the front bumper/headlight set up from a post '10 car. I love, repeat, love the body lines on the pre-facelift S197's but I really, really like the aggressive front and rear profiles on the facelifted ponies.

Then, I'd drop a supercharged 5.0 Coyote in there, mate it to a TR606 with fully independent rear suspension, custom interior, exterior aesthetic touches and all the finery that I could muster mechanically. I'd be like, "2015 Mustang? Naw. Thanks!"

Excuse my ignorance, but where is this?

I've not met but one or two guys on the 'Stang forums who own Ponies overseas.

The Z Car, the Skyline and the Dodge are all to my taste and I quite like these wallpapers. But the big flashy Offentador? PASS!

It must be pretty expensive to buy and run a pony in Europe and the UK, right?

I'm pretty ignorant of these things.

It is pretty costly to run, to fill it its around $105 USD. Oddly enough it wasn't expensive to buy, My father bought it for around 19,000, then it was passed over to me when he started working abroad. Amazingly the original owner and importer payed around 120,000 getting the car, importing it , covering fees and VAT.
I have a daily driver for the week though, which is a little bit more fuel efficient. Driving a LHD Muscle car in and out of a tight compact city proved to be waaaay to difficult.

I live in Canada, where space abounds. Knowing that, my Mustang still feels big at times. I couldn't imagine doing what you do where you do it. Brave man, you have my commendations!

That's an eight, right? Or Pony Packaged V6?

Its actually not terrible in the city , some alleys can be tricky. Especially since the mirrors don't fold. The main issue is multi story car parks ( I can't use ticket machines designed for RHD cars) and trying to park it in teeny euro spaces. I tried once and I don't think I have ever become so frustrated in my life.
Another drawback is trying to overtake on single lane roads , I can't bloody see around cars! Which is hilariously Ironic.
Overall its actually pretty easy to use. Its comfy, powerful enough to pull away from the JDM boys. (I went on a euro trip a few months ago and it was so effortless and comfy. )
There are a few in the country so its pretty damn awesome to have something rare. Thank you kindly for your commendations.
Its an actual 4.6 V8 Which is even rarer, there are quite a few tarted up faux V8's.
Like this sad little gem
